I am an engineering leader and software architect with over two decades of experience designing and scaling backend systems — from monoliths broken into well-bounded microservices to fully serverless AWS architectures built for high-concurrency, unpredictable traffic. I'm genuinely addicted to the problem of designing systems that scale cleanly: getting service boundaries right, choosing what stays synchronous and what goes event-driven, and building the infrastructure that lets a team ship without firefighting.
The other half of the job is people, not just systems: building and leading engineering teams, setting technical direction, and constantly optimizing how the team works — from CI/CD and code review practices to how decisions get made — so that architecture and process both scale together, not just one of them. I care about building real products end to end, not just the parts underneath.
